Designed for those new to the pool industry or working a pool maintenance route, the Certified Pool & Spa Maintenance Specialist (CMS) course takes you through the PHTA Service Tech Manual. It provides knowledge of industry standards for safety, pool circulation and filtration, pool maintenance, and water quality, as well as an introduction to electrical systems, pool structures and finishes, heaters and controls, and customer service.

The CMS course is 24 hours.

Exam Information
The CMS Exam is 1.5 hours long, open book, with 75 multiple-choice questions. You must bring a non-programmable calculator. You must score 75% or better to pass.
